In these demoralizing times, I felt like I needed a project that felt hopeful. Doing an original body positive Christmas card has been a longtime dream of mine! So, I decided it was time to make it happen. I reached out to one of my all time favorite illustrators, Argentina-based Lucila Perini, to see if she'd help me out — and she said yes! This will be our fourth collaboration.

She designed the art for a Fat Travel feature I did with AirBNB Magazine:

And she created all the illos for my 2022 book, The Body Positive Journal:

I love how her style combines bold colors and big bodies interacting within cozy + cute worlds!
