About a year ago, a person I'd worked with reached out to me with an urgent text. Let’s call her Lucy.
Lucy’s mother had just passed away. Like Lucy, her mother had lived in a larger body. Lucy felt overwhelmed, and found that one of the only ways she was coping with this devastating loss was through planning to start a diet. I was so glad she had reached out to me.
